NEW PARISH CLERK
Dear parishioners, I am the new Parish Clerk for Halvergate, please feel free to call or email me with your cares and concerns concerning the parish. Please remember, I am here to help and assist both parishioners and the council, remember the council can do nothing about your concerns if you dont tell them so please feel free to engage directly with me or to attend one of the Parish Council meetings held approximately every 6 weeks at 7pm at the Village Hall. Next meeting is Thursday 5th Jan at 7pm

A47 – Public Drop-in Event – Tuesday 15th November
Highways England will be holding a drop-in event at the Co-Op in Acle on Tuesday 15th November between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm as a result of securing Development Consent Orders for the following sections of the A47:
A47 – A11 Thickthorn Junction
A47 Blofield to North Burlingham
A47 North Tuddenham to Easton
They will welcome quesitons from you .

Road Closure – A47 Westbound, Acle to Cucumber Lane
Highways is planning to carry out essential resurfacing works on the A47 westbound between Acle and Cucumber Lane.
They plan to complete this work over 2 nights on Monday 3 October and Tuesday 4 October. Work will take place between 8pm and 6am, weather conditions permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, they will need to close the A47 westbound to strategic traffic between Acle and Trowse Newton and divert traffic as detailed below:
Westbound strategic traffic will be diverted off the A47 onto the A143 and A146 to re-join the A47 at Trowse Newton.
