Report a dog owner for dog fouling

Under a new public spaces protection order it is illegal for someone to let their dog foul in a public place and not pick it up.

Please use the details below to let us know if you’ve witnessed someone not clearing up after their dog. The more information you can provide to help us identify the owner of the dog, the more chance we have of taking action.

For us to take formal action:

    • you need to have seen the dog(s) actually doing the fouling
    • you need to see the dog owner failing to clear it up
    • you will need to give us a witness statement
    • you may be required to go to court
