Please note that the Parish Council has been in touch with the farmer who has been harvesting his sugar beet on Branch Road and the resultant muddy road.

He sends his sincere apologies to everyone in the village and those who drive along there and explained that they had originally hoped to harvest the crop in September but due to the bad weather and Cantley not being up and running then, he had to delay it.

However, today is the last day of harvest and he will ensure that the road is properly cleaned once it is all finished.
